Our associate priest, Rev’d. Philip Sang, loves the Lord and His people. Rev’d. Philip was born and raised in Kenya where he earned a degree in Bible and Theology from African Theological Seminary and a Certificate in Anglican studies from St. Paul’s Theological College. In the United States he earned a Master’s degree in Religion from Emmanuel Christian Seminary in Tennessee.
Before moving to the United States, Rev’d. Philip worked as a Bible translator for 10 years and completed the New Testament translation into Marakwet, the language of Kenya. He was ordained as a priest in the Anglican Church of Kenya in 2009.
Rev’d. Philip has a passion to see African and American believers fellowship together as brothers and sisters in the Lord. He seeks to help the church think beyond regional and ethnic borders so that everyone may be touched with the love of God. Rev’d. Philip works as a hospital chaplain and enjoys spending time with his family.
