Rev'd Jeff Hunt

Rev’d. Jeff Hunt serves as the rector of St. Augustine’s Anglican Church. He also serves as the Archdeacon of the Ohio Valley in the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word. Before accepting the position of rector in September of 2022, Jeff served as an assisting priest at Good Shepherd Anglican Church in Baltimore, MD.

Rev'd. Jeff and his wife Christina previously lived in Northern Virginia where Rev’d Jeff served as a police Captain and was the Commander of Criminal Investigations. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Class 279. He has served in law enforcement for almost 25 years.

Rev'd. Jeff is originally from Parkersburg, WV. Rev’d Jeff served 6 years with the U.S. Air Force. During that time, he served in the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington D.C., the 89 th Security Forces Squadron at Andrews A.F.B. MD, and as an armed guard to then Sec. of Defense Dick Cheney, Pentagon.

Rev'd. Jeff and Christina have a passion for serving others and enhancing their relationship with Christ. In his spare time, he loves to fish, hunt, and do wood carving.
