The Rev. Adam Carrington and his family moved to Ashland in 2024. In addition to their work with Ashland University they felt called to impact the community for Christ and establish an Anglican presence in the area. Working with the support of St. Augustine's of Westerville, the Carringtons began their ministry and St. Augustine's Ashland Mission was born.

Soon several like-minded families joined them for weekly Evening Prayer in their home-- meeting faithfully to break bread and pray together. In Spring 2025, the Ashland Mission began to hold Sunday Eucharistic services at Emmanuel Global Methodist. After a short period of the two congregations sharing space and alternating services, the relationship between the Ashland Mission and Emmanuel blossomed and is now bearing fruit.

The congregation of Emmanuel Global Methodist decided to dissolve and transfer their building and congregation to the Anglican communion. These two churches have now come together as Emmanuel Anglican Church under the leadership of Rev. Carrington. We are delighted to join resources with these dear brothers and sisters as we work together to extend God’s kingdom.

All Are Welcome

In these often-turbulent times, many people are looking for a firm foundation and a supportive community. At St. Augustine's Ashland Campus, we seek to be a welcoming fellowship of believers worshiping our Triune God in spirit and in truth. We do so according to the Anglican tradition as summed up in that church's formularies: the Thirty-Nine Articles (1571), the Book of Common Prayer (1662), and the Ordinal (1662). Please join us for worship this Sunday. Together, we will hear God's Word, pray, and confess our faith with an orthodox and beautiful liturgy whose roots stretch back both to the Early Church and the English Reformation.

Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...
